The 19th century was a period when the sun never set on the English Royal Empire.  Refinement and purity was state of the art, and respect was expected.  This led to the expensive and luxurious furnishings that echoed another great empire, that of Rome, todays Rutt “Empire” provides these great designs for the interiors of our grand homes.
